ICE's rules for mail, packages and money
Pike County Correctional Facility only accepts legal mail for detainees. Digital messages can be exchanged through GettingOut.com or the Getting Out mobile app. Letters must be sent to P.O. Box 247, Phoenix, MD 21131 and include the facility name, detainee name, OCA#, and the sender’s name and address. To enhance the safety of the facility, all incoming mail is subject to screening for contraband. Mail is not read upon opening, only inspected by the delivering officer. Detainees may send mail from the facility. Detainees may seal their outgoing letters and place them in the provided receptacle. All incoming mail will be delivered to the detainee, and outgoing mail will be routed to the proper postal office within 24 hours of receipt by facility staff. A mail pick-up and delivery schedule is posted in all housing units.
Detainees are allowed to purchase stamps for use. Generally, there is no limit to the amount of correspondence detainees may send at their own expense. Indigent detainees (those who have no means of financial support and no funds in their facility account) will be provided postage allowance at government expense.
When detainees depart the facility or are transferred to another facility, only their legal mail will be forwarded to them. General correspondence will be endorsed "Return to Sender" and returned to the post office.
Detainees are cautioned not to have funds sent to them in the mail.
A detainee may receive items at the following address that are determined to be of necessity for the sole purpose of travel or release from agency custody with approval of the ICE Deportation Officer:
DHS/ICE/ERO
175 Pike County Blvd.
Lords Valley, PA 18428
Note that detainees being removed from the United States are allowed one small piece of luggage. Luggage must be carry-on size or smaller, and under 20 pounds. Approval is required before mailing or dropping off. If a detainee does not have such baggage, such luggage can be sent/delivered after receiving approval from Supervisory Deportation Officer. Please be advised that for security reasons, no electronic devices (cell phones, electric razors, laptop computers, radios, etc.) will be accepted.
Free legal helpThe government's list of free legal service providers is organized by immigration court: EOIR pro bono list. Search nonprofit legal services near you: National Immigration Legal Services Directory.
From inside, people held can call the Freedom for Immigrants hotline for free by dialing 9233#.

Avoid scams. ICE never takes bond payments by gift card, Zelle or cash app. A "notario" or "immigration consultant" is not a lawyer; only lawyers and accredited representatives can give legal advice.

About these numbers

"Held per day" is the average number of people in custody here each day, computed from ICE's own individual records (names removed) that the Deportation Data Project obtained through FOIA litigation. They run through Aug 5, 2026. A stay counts the time at this facility only; people are often transferred. Shares and averages based on fewer than 10 people are not shown. How we count
