Messages, mail, money
ICE's rules for mail, packages and money
The facility does not accept packages from family or friends. Items must be pre-approved and come directly from an approved vendor. This should be arranged through the detainee.
Mail should be addressed in the following manner:
Detainee Name (last 4 of A#)
Address
City, State Zip
Letters sent to detainees must have the detainee’s complete first and last name, plus the sender’s name and address. The use of nicknames or incomplete return addresses will result in the mail being rejected. To enhance the safety of the facility, all incoming mail is subject to screening for contraband. The mail is not read upon opening, only inspected by the delivering officer. Detainees may send mail from the facility. Detainees may seal their outgoing letters and place them in the provided receptacle. All incoming mail will be delivered to the detainee, and outgoing mail will be routed to the proper postal office within 24 hours of receipt by facility staff.
Detainees are provided 7 free stamps per week for use. While there is no limit to the amount of correspondence detainees may send, it will be at their own expense after the 7 free stamps are used.
When detainees depart the facility or are transferred to another facility, only their legal mail will be forwarded to them. General correspondence will be endorsed "Return to Sender" and returned to the post office.
Money is not to be given directly to the detainee. Money can be placed on the detainee's account by calling ICS Corrections at (866) 345-1884, or online.
If detainees receive funds in the mail, it will be returned to sender. Detainees are cautioned not to have cash sent to them in the mail.
Free legal helpThe government's list of free legal service providers is organized by immigration court: EOIR pro bono list. Search nonprofit legal services near you: National Immigration Legal Services Directory.
From inside, people held can call the Freedom for Immigrants hotline for free by dialing 9233#.
Court caseCheck a case by A-number with EOIR's Automated Case Information or by phone at 1-800-898-7180.
Avoid scams. ICE never takes bond payments by gift card, Zelle or cash app. A "notario" or "immigration consultant" is not a lawyer; only lawyers and accredited representatives can give legal advice.

About these numbers

"Held per day" is the average number of people in custody here each day, computed from ICE's own individual records (names removed) that the Deportation Data Project obtained through FOIA litigation. They run through Aug 5, 2026. A stay counts the time at this facility only; people are often transferred. Shares and averages based on fewer than 10 people are not shown. How we count
